MoodBug is a fictional app created to help the user keep track of their mood, as well as their schedule and goals throughout the week. This app allows the user to track their mood throughout the month, record and write down their thoughts, create goals/to-do lists. Each time the user enters their mood, a butterfly of that color appears in their “mood jar”. For every set of goals they complete, they unlock a new bug in their “bug awards”
This app is inspired by bullet journaling, where someone can keep track of their schedule, moods, dailies, etc. in a fun and creative way. It is also inspired by y own way of dealing with my mental health. Writing down and recording my thoughts, as well as marking off goals/to-do lists are all things that help me in my own journey. The color palette of cool and warm tones give the viewer a sense of calm and warmth. Lastly, the fonts used are Etna (Black) and Mendl family both of these fonts help to create contrast within the color palette. Â

Art is something that I am continuously learning and pushing myself to excel in. Through art, I have been able to connect with others and meet a lot of interesting people. I have been around artworks and supplies all my life with my mom being an art therapist. The concept of surrealism has always interested me as an artist. I find that it allows the artist to twist reality in a creative way. Surrealism allows the artist to tell a story within the piece. The creativity and ideas behind art always draw me in. In my own personal artwork, I like to include elements of surrealism and create a story behind the works.
